🌿 Environmental Concerns

🌱 Every digital tool has an environmental cost, but compared to the traditional print industry, it’s significantly lower. 💻 Platforms like Canva use far less energy than a commercial printer, and even AI—while more intensive—helps us run a leaner, more efficient business without warehouses or physical waste.

✅ Yes! Some of our products are available as Amazon print-on-demand paperbacks. 📦 This means each book is printed only when ordered—eliminating excess inventory, warehousing, and much of the waste of traditional publishing. 🌍 Of course, print still requires paper, ink, and water, which is why we balance our catalog with a wide range of digital downloads that skip shipping and physical materials altogether.

🏭 In traditional publishing, thousands of books are printed at once, warehoused, and shipped in bulk. This process often means:

  • 💧 High water consumption (up to 7 gallons per book)
  • 📄 Paper waste from unsold stock
  • 🚚 Shipping emissions and packaging waste

🌍 With our hybrid model—digital-first, with thoughtful print-on-demand options—we cut out much of this environmental toll while still giving customers the choice of print or digital.

✂️ Our collage paperback books are designed to let you creatively use the entire page. You can cut the sheets in different ways to take advantage of not only the main images but also the extra patterns and background elements, making each page fully functional for diverse artistic expressions. 🎨

🖨️ How to Print Only the Pages You Want from Our eBooks

You don’t need to print the whole book—both Mac and Windows let you choose specific pages.

On a Mac (using Preview)

  1. Open the PDF (it usually opens in Preview by default).
  2. In the top menu, click View → Thumbnails.
  3. A page list appears on the left. Hold Command and click the pages you want.
  4. Go to File → Print.
  5. In the print window, choose Selected Pages in Sidebar.
  6. Print or choose Save as PDF to create a file with just those pages.

On Windows (using Microsoft Edge or Adobe Reader)

  1. Right-click the PDF and choose Open with → Microsoft Edge (or open in free Adobe Acrobat Reader).
  2. Press Ctrl + P (or click Print).
  3. In the Pages box, type the page numbers you want (e.g., 3, 5-7).
  4. Print, or choose Microsoft Print to PDF to save just those pages as a new PDF.

💡 Tip: This lets you print only the collage images you need—saving ink, paper, and time.

📑 Our paperback books feature images on both sides of each page. We encourage you to copy and print pages as needed, making the most of every piece—whether it’s a main image or a small detail found in the scraps—to add depth and interest to your collages. 🎨

🖌️ Absolutely! You can experiment with Gelli-printing using our paperback books. ⚠️ However, please note that we cannot guarantee results, as Amazon’s manufacturing process is not always consistent—and of course, variations can also come from human error during printing.

📄 You can print our eBooks on any paper you prefer—the choice depends on how you plan to use the images. 💧 For projects involving wet media, a laser printer is recommended since the ink won’t run. ✏️ For dry media, an inkjet printer works well, though it’s not ideal for wet applications. 🎨 Ultimately, it’s about experimenting to find what works best for your creative needs!

🏢 Company Questions

If you’re shopping outside the U.S., the price shown may differ from a simple currency converter. Here’s what’s included:

  • Currency conversion. We price in USD and display your local currency using Shopify’s current exchange rates, which update regularly and can differ from bank or Google rates.
  • Local taxes included. Many countries require VAT, GST, or similar taxes to be built into the displayed price for digital goods—so you won’t see these added at checkout.
  • Rounding & processing. We round to clean numbers (e.g., £9 instead of £8.97) and account for small cross-border payment processing adjustments where required.
Bottom line: The price you see in your local currency already includes required taxes and standard adjustments—so there are no surprise add-ons at checkout.

©️ The content of our books is protected by copyright when presented in any collective format such as books, magazines, or articles. 🎨 Individual artists are welcome to use elements from our books in their own projects—and even for resale—without needing specific permission for each use. 🏭 For mass production using images from our books, prior approval from Collage Soup is required.
